When you turn on your faucet at home, you expect instant access to clean water for drinking, cooking and cleaning. Most people don’t think twice about their tap water as long as it continues to flow through their pipes. As your water provider, it is the job of the City of St. Helens to deliver a consistent and safe supply of water from our water source to your private water lines.

On August 12, 2016, from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.,  the City of St. Helens will be live on KOHI-AM 1600 for a City Talk “All About Water” radio program. Learn where your water comes from, how it is treated and the safety standards and testing requirements the City follows to ensure that St. Helens drinking water is safe to use.

The community can call in during the talk show at 503-397-1600 to ask City staff questions about the St. Helens water system. The City’s Water Filtration Facility Supervisor, Public Works Engineering Director, and Safety Coordinator will be on hand to answer your questions.
